Women seek breast enhancement to better balance their figure, increase the fullness and projection and also to enhance their self image and confidence. Breast augmentation has a very high satisfaction rate if you have realistic expectations; you are healthy and have fully developed breasts. Many women seek this procedure after weight loss and pregnancy which can affect the shape and volume of the breasts. Young women who fail to fully develop or have breast asymmetry with different shape or size are good candidates for surgery as well.

Implants can be placed under or on top of the muscle (pectoralis major). I make that decision during the consultation and examination. This depends on the amount of breast tissue that you have, the quality of your skin (thin with stretch marks, loose skin envelope, or good thick elastic skin), and your activity level. These factors will also determine if I recommend saline or silicone gel implants, low, moderate or high profile, smooth or textured. Sometimes a breast lift might be needed at the time of your breast augmentation, but if the breasts sag too much, a lift might need to be done first.

The surgery is done in our certified (AAAASF) office surgical suite under intravenous sedation. Postoperatively I do not place restrictions on your activity and most people take pain medication for 5-10 days. You need to follow our postoperative instructions to heal properly and return for office visits as requested. I will see you frequently after your surgery and after the sixth month follow up, I see my patients back on a yearly basis. I am always available to my patients 24/7.
