Laser Resurfacing for Acne Scarring and Sun Damage is a stand alone procedure or it is done in conjunction with a facelift. As we go through life, our faces are exposed to the elements constantly. We not only loose soft tissue volume under the skin, but the skin undergoes changes as well. Elasticity and dermal support is decreasing, creating breaks in the skin or wrinkles. The later, also known as extrinsic wrinkles, are the finer criss-cross lines of the face, neck and chest. These wrinkles can be erased with the laser.
